Weather: ESE force 3, slight drizzle followed by rain
A wet morning meant conditions were difficult for observers and birds alike. A Common Tern passing the obs down the estuary was a first of the year for Hilbre, 2 Sandwich Terns, a Gannet, a male Goosander and a Merlin were also logged. The 2 Eider are still present. Two Chiffchaffs were the only grounded migrants.
